Our measurement method
A figure without a method is worthless. Here is exactly how we get our results, so that you can check them.
Measure actual consumption
A [MODÈLE] power meter continuously measures the electricity consumption of the whole rack (servers, network, power supply), read every [FRÉQUENCE].
Divide by the number of sites
Average consumption over [PÉRIODE] is divided by the number of active sites over the same period: that gives the figure of 0,17 W per site.
Convert into emissions
The kWh used are multiplied by the emission factor of the French electricity mix ([X] gCO₂e/kWh, source: [ADEME Base Empreinte, année]).
Publish and update
Results are updated [FRÉQUENCE DE PUBLICATION] and the history remains available on this page.

What we do not claim
Hosting always has an impact. We prefer to reduce and measure it rather than erase it with slogans.
- We are not "carbon neutral" or "zero emission".
- We do not offset our emissions by buying carbon credits.
- We do not compare our figures with those of other hosts without a verifiable source.
